Counseling services
Support for every season of life
Whether you're navigating a difficult transition, working through grief, or simply ready to understand yourself more deeply — I'm here to help.
A personalized approach to healing
Every person's journey is unique. I offer counseling across a wide range of life challenges — from marriage and family to grief, addiction, and crisis response. Sessions are available face to face in my office, via Skype, and through Lunch & Learn seminars for groups and organizations.
Marital Counseling
Marriage takes work — and sometimes it takes a skilled guide. I help couples improve communication, rebuild trust, navigate conflict, and rediscover the connection that brought them together.
Approach
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method principles, communication skills training
Good for
- Communication breakdowns
- Trust and conflict issues
- Emotional disconnection
- Life transitions as a couple
- Rebuilding after betrayal
Premarital Counseling
Starting a marriage with intention is one of the best investments you can make. Premarital counseling helps couples explore values, expectations, and communication styles before they become sources of conflict.
Approach
Values clarification, conflict resolution skills, communication training
Good for
- Couples preparing for marriage
- Navigating family expectations
- Financial and lifestyle alignment
- Building healthy communication habits
- Strengthening emotional intimacy
Divorce Recovery
Divorce is one of life's most disorienting experiences. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space to process the grief, anger, and uncertainty that come with the end of a marriage — and to begin rebuilding with clarity and confidence.
Approach
Grief-informed therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused counseling
Good for
- Processing grief and loss
- Rebuilding identity and self-worth
- Co-parenting challenges
- Navigating legal and financial stress
- Moving forward with intention
Grief & Loss
Grief is not a problem to be solved — it is a deeply human experience that deserves space and compassion. I offer a gentle, unhurried environment to process the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a role, or a version of yourself.
Approach
Grief-informed therapy, somatic awareness, narrative approaches
Good for
- Loss of a loved one
- Anticipatory grief
- Complicated or prolonged grief
- Loss of identity or purpose
- Divorce or relationship ending
Codependency
Codependency can quietly erode your sense of identity and wellbeing. I help clients recognize unhealthy relational patterns, establish healthy boundaries, and build relationships grounded in mutual respect rather than fear or obligation.
Approach
Person-centered therapy, boundary work, attachment-informed approaches
Good for
- People-pleasing and boundary difficulties
- Relationships with addicted loved ones
- Loss of personal identity in relationships
- Enabling patterns
- Building self-worth and autonomy
Parenting & Family
Parenting is one of the most rewarding — and most demanding — roles a person can hold. I work with parents navigating single parenting, blended family dynamics, and the everyday challenges of raising children with confidence and care.
Approach
Family systems therapy, parenting skills coaching, solution-focused approaches
Good for
- Single parenting challenges
- Blended family adjustment
- Parent-child conflict
- Co-parenting after divorce
- Building family resilience
Depression & Anxiety
Depression and anxiety are among the most common — and most treatable — mental health challenges. I use evidence-based approaches to help you understand what's driving your symptoms, interrupt unhelpful patterns, and build a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.
Approach
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), behavioral activation
Good for
- Generalized anxiety and worry
- Persistent low mood
- Panic attacks
- Burnout and exhaustion
- Loss of motivation or joy
Addiction Counseling
Addiction — whether to substances, alcohol, food, or other compulsive behaviors — affects every area of life. I provide compassionate, non-shaming support to help clients understand the roots of their addiction and build a sustainable path toward recovery.
Approach
Motivational interviewing, CBT for addiction, relapse prevention planning
Good for
- Substance and alcohol use
- Food and eating compulsions
- Behavioral addictions
- Supporting loved ones in recovery
- Relapse prevention

Ongoing work
We meet regularly — weekly or bi-weekly — and adjust our approach as you grow and your needs evolve.
Your pace, your goals
There's no fixed timeline. Some clients work with me for months; others for years. The work ends when you're ready.
Not sure where to start?
That's completely okay. Reach out and we'll figure it out together.
